Required Updates To Your Auction123 Craigslist Application

We are releasing a required update for your Auction123 Craigslist application running on a Windows PC(s) at your dealership on August 7th, 2024. Windows may request your permission to proceed with this update. This required update is necessary for your Craigslist tool to function. The requirement for this update is a Windows 10 or 11 operating system and .NET 5.0 or above. Once we push these changes live, you should receive a notification that an update is available, or you can check for updates.

Right-click on the “123” logo in your system tray and select “Check for Updates.”

If Windows requests permission to proceed, you will see a pop-up stating, “Windows protected your PC”. You will then need to click on “More info“, then click the button that states “Run anyway” to start the process.

A window will then open asking if you would like to install the Auction123 Launcher Application. Click “Install” to complete the update process. Right click the “123” logo again and the version should be v202408072.

Craigslist Account Password Reset

Craigslist has been forcing many accounts to reset their passwords. To ensure continued service between your Auction123 Dashboard and your Craigslist account, we recommend you attempt to log into your Craigslist account to see if you are required to update your password. Once completed, be sure to log into your Auction123 account and update your Craigslist login information.

Updating your Craigslist account information in Auction123:

Craigslist account info

  • Log into your Auction123 Dashboard.
  • In the left-hand navigation menu, click Feeds under the Preferences section.
  • Select the Craigslist tab.
  • Locate the Craigslist Account Settings section and update the “Account Password” with your newly updated Craigslist password.
  • If you have more than one Craigslist account associated with your Auction123 Dashboard, be sure to select each account from the “Select Account to Edit” drop-down menu and update the password for each Craigslist account you own.

On Monday, August 14th, you will need to update the Auction123 Craigslist application running on a Windows PC(s) at your dealership.  These updates are due to security certificate changes with the application and are necessary for your Craigslist tool to function. Once we push these changes live, you should receive a notification that an update is available or you can check for updates yourself. Follow the instructions below to complete the process.

Right-click on the “123” logo in your system tray and select “Check for Updates.”
